Pastor Joshua's Story

I have been drawn to music since I was a small child. When I was four my mom noticed that I would find any two things I could get in my hands and use them to pretend I was playing drums and that I could stay on tempo. She bought me a drum set that year and I have been playing ever since. I then started playing keyboard when I was eighteen and picked up bass guitar a few years later.  I started leading worship in youth ministry at my church when I was fifteen and in the adult ministry the following year. This was the beginning of a long journey. I am grateful that the Lord used my mom to see the gifting in me and allowed her to steer me in the right direction at an early age.

I was married in December of 2012 to my wife Alicia. She has a masters in Clinical Counseling and is one of the most genuine people I have ever known. She is my all time favorite person. We have so much fun together. Our daughter was born in April 2015 and we are expecting our second child in January 2017. We enjoy a good plot-driven movie, playing scrabble, hanging out with friends and of course I personally enjoy playing music and writing.
